This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States, +2 more states.
• Serve as the leading design representative for the Squad, collaborating closely with clients to grasp user needs, business objectives, and constraints.
• Oversee the entire design process from initial discovery to final delivery, which encompasses research, wireframes, prototypes, high-fidelity UI, and post-launch iterations.
• Facilitate or direct user research and usability testing efforts.
• Develop and sustain scalable design systems and component libraries.
• Simplify intricate 0-to-1 challenges into clear, user-friendly product experiences.
• Collaborate with product and engineering teams to ensure technical feasibility and precise delivery of designs.
• Articulate and justify design choices to clients and stakeholders based on user needs and data-driven insights.
• Contribute to the enhancement of internal design standards, critique culture, and processes across various Squads.
• Address diverse design requirements, ranging from UI refinement to comprehensive research initiatives.
• A minimum of 4 years of hands-on product design experience, with a record of managing end-to-end design processes.
• Demonstrated success in taking products from concept to launch, including experience with 0-to-1 projects.
• Proficient in Figma and contemporary design tools.
• Strong skills in prototyping.
• Experience in creating and managing design systems and component libraries at scale.
• Familiarity with user research methodologies.
• Comfortable leading or synthesizing usability testing sessions.
• Strong visual design acumen and solid UX judgment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• Comfortable presenting directly to clients.
• High attention to detail and effective time management skills.
• Capability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Experience collaborating within a remote and diverse product development team.
• Willingness to work in the PST time zone or a close equivalent.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States, Canada, or Mexico.
• A degree is not a prerequisite.
