Senior Product Designer, AI Platform

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Take charge of the complete product design for the Agent Harness, encompassing research, user flows, interaction design, and visual design.

• Create tools for configuring, guiding, and assessing AI agents.

• Oversee the maintenance of the shared design library, which includes components, patterns, and guidelines.

• Identify vague product challenges and offer clear guidance to teams.

• Evaluate and enhance both AI-generated and engineer-created user interfaces.

• Develop quick working prototypes utilizing AI-assisted tools.

• Employ prototypes to validate concepts with users and ensure team alignment prior to production coding.

• Establish design critique rituals, review practices, and set crafting standards.

• Report directly to the Head of Product.

• Robust generalist portfolio showcasing intricate workflow tools, systems thinking, and refined visual craftsmanship, preferably including AI product surfaces.

• Proficient in AI-assisted prototyping and design tools as part of daily operations.

• Experience in designing AI-native products that involve probabilistic system behavior, trust, steering, legibility, and control considerations.

• Comfortable ensuring design quality for surfaces not created personally.

• Capable of delivering clear, actionable feedback and integrating standards into reusable systems.

• Proven senior individual-contributor judgment.

• Ability to independently define project scope and function with minimal supervision.
