
Senior Product Analyst – OpenLAB CDS

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Czechia.
• Serve as the main point of contact between business stakeholders, laboratory teams, Quality, and IT.
• Collect and analyze business requirements for OpenLAB CDS implementations and migrations.
• Facilitate workshops and intake sessions with laboratories transitioning to OpenLAB CDS.
• Convert laboratory workflows and business needs into system configuration requirements.
• Document business processes, workflows, use cases, and functional specifications.
• Examine chromatography laboratory workflows and assist in OpenLAB CDS configuration choices.
• Articulate configuration decisions to both technical and business stakeholders.
• Provide support for validated laboratory systems, validation planning, GxP documentation, and audit preparedness.
• Lead the analysis of OpenLAB CDS integrations with enterprise laboratory systems.
• Gather integration requirements, document data mapping, and collaborate with integration teams.
• Establish testing strategies, develop regression test cases, support UAT, and analyze defects.
• Assist in onboarding programs, create user documentation and training materials, deliver training, and generate FAQs.
• Review quarterly releases of Agilent OpenLAB and conduct impact assessments.
• Suggest configuration updates and communicate release impacts to stakeholders.
• Maintain system documentation, governance documentation, and decision logs throughout the SDLC.
• Provide first-level functional support, prioritize issues, escalate technical problems, and track requests via ServiceNow/JIRA.
• Over 5 years of experience in supporting laboratory software platforms.
• At least 3 years of experience in supporting chromatography software.
• Background in pharmaceutical, biotech, CRO, or life sciences environments.
• Experience supporting validated laboratory systems.
• Proven ability to work with scientific users and laboratory operations.
• Preferred experience with OpenLAB CDS.
• Familiarity with Laboratory Information Systems.
• Experience in scientific data management.
• Skills in business analysis, requirements gathering, and workshop facilitation.
• Competence in business process mapping, functional specifications, and user stories.
• Strong stakeholder management abilities.
• Knowledge of pharmaceutical R&D, laboratory operations, and scientific workflows.
• Understanding of GxP, Computer System Validation (CSV), and regulatory compliance.
• Experience in testing, UAT, regression testing, test case creation, and defect management.
• Skills in gathering integration requirements, data mapping, integration analysis, and enterprise system integrations.
• Proficiency in documentation, SOP support, SDLC documentation, validation documentation, user guides, and training materials.
• Familiarity with Agilent OpenLAB CDS, JIRA, Xray or Vera, ServiceNow, and Microsoft Office.
• Desirable skills include expertise in Agilent OpenLAB CDS 2.x, OpenLAB ChemStation, laboratory instrument integration, scientific instrumentation knowledge, pharmaceutical Quality Management Systems, digital SDLC experience, or laboratory automation platforms.
