This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States, +1 more country.
• Take charge of product and partner analytics for Trellis's insurance marketplace.
• Examine user behavior throughout the entire marketplace funnel, from traffic acquisition and quoting to carrier placement and retention.
• Discover opportunities and assess the effects of product modifications.
• Develop reusable analysis frameworks for team members.
• Collaborate with Provider Engineering to introduce new monetization partners.
• Manage provider data, encompassing revenue, policy retention, and compensation structures.
• Create and sustain Looker dashboards.
• Generate partner-facing reports utilized by executives and external partners.
• Investigate anomalies and resolve discrepancies from raw event data through the modeled analytics layer.
• Convey insights to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Contribute well-tested SQL, metric definitions, and documentation to the LookML analytics codebase.
• Over 5 years of experience in analytics.
• More than 3 years in product or marketplace analytics.
• Proven history of proactive analysis resulting in measurable impact.
• Advanced SQL skills, including the ability to write efficient, production-grade queries for large cloud data warehouses.
• Strong experience in business intelligence and dashboard creation.
• Demonstrated success in developing reports used by executives and external partners.
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of unaddressed challenges.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills that are clear and professional.
• Capability to foster internal alignment and manage relationships with external partners.
• Familiarity with BigQuery, Looker, or dbt is preferred.
• Experience in marketplace, ad tech, or insurtech settings is preferred.
• Background in integrating AI tools into analytics workflows is preferred.
• A background check must be completed prior to beginning employment.
