Senior Product Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Kazakhstan.

📋 Description

• Analyze fraud, AML, and user behavior data to uncover gaps in detection logic and discover opportunities for rule optimization.

• Examine user behavior patterns to differentiate between legitimate activities and fraudulent or suspicious actions.

• Develop, implement, and enhance detection rules spanning Fraud, AML, and Sanctions domains.

• Investigate emerging typologies and unknown attacks, proposing strategies for mitigation.

• Enhance fraud and disturbance rates while balancing detection accuracy with customer experience.

• Conduct quality assurance on alerts and analyze false positives and negatives to improve precision.

• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Data Science teams to refine risk models, alerting logic, and automation workflows.

• Leverage AI and LLM-based tools to expedite investigations and scale analyses.

• Produce clear, visual reports on risk trends, rule effectiveness, and ongoing threats.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 4 years of experience in a product analyst role.

• Proficient in SQL with the capability to write and optimize complex queries on a daily basis.

• Advanced expertise in data visualization tools.

• Hands-on experience utilizing AI tools for analysis, investigation, and delivery.

• Strong ability to derive business insights from data and convey complex topics clearly.

• Upper-intermediate proficiency in English.

• Knowledge of applied probability theory and mathematical statistics, including A/B testing and causal inference, is a plus.

• Familiarity with Python for data analytics, particularly with libraries such as NumPy and Pandas, is a plus.

• Experience in risk, compliance, or anti-fraud sectors is an advantage.
