This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Collaborate closely with product feature teams to gain insights into their roadmap, transforming initiative goals into measurable data KPIs, targets, and plans for assessment.
• Extract and consolidate data from diverse sources to bolster analytical initiatives, liaising with data product, engineering, data science, and other analytics teams as required.
• Lead A/B testing experiments, validate test data, monitor progress, conduct post-test analysis, and offer recommendations for feature release decisions, working in coordination with the experimentation platform team as necessary.
• Transform business inquiries into data analytics assignments, performing comprehensive analyses to segment and investigate data, identify crucial drivers, and produce actionable insights to guide business decisions.
• Partner with data scientists on research and innovation endeavors, employing standardized processes and improving analytics methodologies as they emerge. Contribute to the creation and utilization of digital tools, reporting visualizations, and analytical storytelling.
• Collaborate with the reporting team to define and develop automated, self-service dashboards, efficiently delivering pertinent information to enhance business operations and monitor key initiatives.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Analytics, Data Science, Business, Economics, or a related discipline, coupled with 3+ years of pertinent professional experience in data analysis. A relevant Master’s Degree is advantageous.
• Proven experience collaborating with product, business, or other partner teams, including conducting experiments and aiding optimization efforts such as A/B testing, holdout groups, and multivariate analysis is essential. Knowledge of quasi-experimental causal inference methodologies is a bonus.
• Significant experience in data analysis with expertise in advanced SQL, Python/R is mandatory; familiarity with user journey tools (e.g., Adobe Analytics) and standard BI tools (e.g., MicroStrategy, Tableau, Domo) is highly desirable.
• Strong grasp of statistical concepts (e.g., confidence intervals, hypothesis testing) and analytic modeling techniques (e.g., multivariate/linear regression, k-means clustering) is preferred.
