This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Serbia.
• Oversee and enhance the metrics hierarchy.
• Confirm the accuracy of metrics and ensure dashboards are correctly constructed.
• Draft clear specifications for the Data Engineering team.
• Maintain a single locked definition for each metric.
• Break down the north-star metric to a level that each team can impact.
• Examine fluctuations and anomalies in metrics.
• Collaborate directly with functional leaders.
• Identify and analyze bottlenecks, conversion drop-offs, and segments.
• Validate product hypotheses.
• Explore data for hidden patterns and growth opportunities.
• Jointly prioritize issues with the Product team based on their potential impact on the north-star metric.
• Design A/B tests, including considerations for sample size, MDE, duration, and randomization split calculations.
• Ensure the correctness of splits and perform sanity checks prior to result analysis.
• Present results along with guardrail metrics.
• Define the requirements for data tracking and necessary events.
• Maintain the archive of tests.
• Provide actionable recommendations based on experimental outcomes.
• Highlight data-quality issues before decisions are made based on that data.
• Advanced education in mathematics or a related technical field.
• Familiarity and experience with mathematical statistics and probability theory.
• Proficient in data extraction, processing, analysis, and visualization tools such as MS SQL, Python, and Excel.
• Extensive experience in conducting and analyzing A/B tests.
• Thorough understanding of marketing metrics along with practical experience utilizing them.
