This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +4 more states.
• Oversee and take ownership of global/North America retail operations projects, including planning, execution, and reporting on competitive bidding to enhance cost, quality, and service.
• Work in conjunction with Global Procurement leadership to establish standardized processes and align strategies with essential stakeholders.
• Collect and convert business requirements into detailed and clear RFP documents.
• Identify potential suppliers and perform vendor comparison analysis.
• Manage all facets of the competitive bidding process, which encompasses communication, timeline management, cost comparisons, and contract evaluations.
• Conduct complex data analysis, compile actionable recommendations, and foster alignment around optimal value options.
• Lead or assist in negotiations with vendors to enhance benefits and maximize value.
• Support or spearhead contract review processes with both internal and external partners.
• Keep abreast of supply and industry trends to ensure Deckers secures the best value.
• Oversee reporting projects aimed at identifying cost optimization opportunities and tracking value achieved.
• Refine contract management processes to bolster procurement strategies.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to strategize for future initiatives and meet business objectives.
• Maintain project documentation and aid in reporting and data analytics.
• Manage procurement project workflow tools.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in procurement project management.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills; fluency in English is required.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly with advanced skills in Excel and PowerPoint.
• Strong comprehension of Procure to Pay processes.
• Experience in navigating complex global organizations and managing varied stakeholder needs.
• High integrity, dependability, and the capacity to work with minimal supervision.
• Self-motivated individual who can operate both independently and collaboratively.
• Adept at multitasking and managing a substantial volume of relationships and projects.
• Strong interpersonal, influencing, and decision-making capabilities.
• Expertise in negotiation, analytical thinking, problem-solving, organization, and project management.
• Familiarity with contract management, including creation, auditing, and review.
• Ability to lead procurement projects and convert business needs into actionable requirements.
• Recognizes opportunities for improvement and offers constructive suggestions.
• Preferred experience in eCommerce, Digital Marketing, Marketing, Public Relations, Events, Travel, and Retail.
• Experience in Retail Procurement is advantageous.
