This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Iowa, +4 more states.
• Generate, review, and distribute purchase orders along with necessary documentation, coding, and approvals.
• Source routine goods and services by evaluating pricing, lead times, specifications, and product availability.
• Monitor open purchase orders, follow up on order status, delivery schedules, and backorders, and escalate any issues.
• Verify pricing against negotiated contracts or quoted prices and rectify discrepancies.
• Maintain purchasing records for financial reporting, audits, and compliance assessments.
• Ensure compliance with contract terms, pricing, product consistency, service levels, and authorized vendor usage.
• Assist in vendor onboarding by collecting documentation, confirming vendor information, and facilitating setup.
• Review and edit vendor contracts, NDAs, order forms, and amendments in collaboration with the Legal department.
• Negotiate commercial terms for routine and mid-tier agreements while escalating complex negotiations as necessary.
• Act as the primary vendor liaison, communicating contract expectations and purchasing procedures.
• Aid Accounts Payable in verifying invoice accuracy against invoices, purchase orders, and contracts.
• Track aging invoices, document resolutions, and maintain audit trails.
• Investigate and resolve invoice discrepancies with vendors and internal teams.
• Ensure data integrity in Workday Procurement for vendor records, item master, contract metadata, and purchasing categories.
• Collaborate with IT on Workday configuration adjustments, enhancements, and workflow testing.
• Offer guidance on Workday processes, provide end-user support, troubleshooting, and training.
• Experience in healthcare or Workday is mandatory.
• Advanced imaging or diagnostic imaging experience is highly preferred.
• 3–5 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain management.
• Proven experience in contract review and vendor negotiation.
• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in transactional tasks.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Outlook, and SharePoint.
• Familiarity with standard commercial contract terms, SLAs, indemnification, and payment terms.
• Capability to identify and escalate contract risks.
• Strong communication and customer service abilities.
• Must reside in the EST or CST time zone or be willing to work during EST/CST business hours.
• Preferred familiarity with clinical supply chain requirements, capital planning, and vendor compliance standards.
• Supplier relationship management experience, including QBRs and continuous improvement initiatives, is preferred.
• Experience in developing and implementing category strategies is preferred.
