This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Connecticut, +4 more states.
• Drive value across a varied portfolio of spending categories for Nestlé Health Science.
• Collaborate with local and global stakeholders to implement sourcing strategies.
• Lead the selection of suppliers and negotiate contracts.
• Enhance supplier performance.
• Develop category strategies and pinpoint opportunities for value creation.
• Direct cross-functional initiatives.
• Manage essential supplier relationships with an emphasis on risk reduction, innovation, and sustainability.
• Offer manufacturing support.
• Serve as the primary contact for factory escalations and promote sustainable resolutions.
• Oversee OSCAR projects to achieve savings and ensure supply and compliance goals.
• Track business objectives and periodically reassess targets.
• Ensure the seamless flow of information between factory teams and Procurement.
• Conduct Monthly Category Reviews as necessary.
• Assist Supply Chain, CTAG, Quality, and Finance stakeholders.
• Provide insights into Nestlé pricing and profitability opportunities.
• Aid in developing strategies for critical items at designated facilities.
• Identify supply risks and formulate mitigation strategies.
• Engage in sourcing strategies and Business Continuity Planning.
• Identify and execute projects aimed at minimizing out-of-stock inventory risk.
• Represent projects through the PMP.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
• Bachelor’s Degree preferred; a combination of education and relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
• Master’s Degree or higher preferred.
• CPM Certification is a plus.
• At least 1 year of experience in procurement or material management and/or technical/manufacturing experience preferred.
• Experience with SAP, Ariba, and Oracle preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Suite products, including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel is required.
• Familiarity with Power BI, AI, and analytical tools is advantageous.
• Detail-oriented and a self-motivated individual.
• Demonstrated ability to analyze and present findings clearly and coherently.
• Capable of independently identifying and researching market, industry, and supplier information.
• Able to navigate ambiguous situations and manage relationships with external vendors.
• Competent in developing processes and identifying continuous improvements.
• Outstanding relationship-building and stakeholder management skills.
