Senior Procurement Officer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.

📋 Description

• Lead comprehensive procurement activities across designated suppliers and categories, ensuring uninterrupted supply, cost efficiency, and optimal supplier performance.

• Oversee the entire procurement lifecycle (forecast → PO → delivery → inventory outcomes).

• Align purchasing strategies with forecasts and operational requirements.

• Proactively identify supply risks and implement mitigation strategies.

• Expedite or de-expedite orders to fulfill operational demands.

• Maintain supplier master data (contacts, lead times, certificates, compliance documents).

• Cultivate key supplier relationships and enhance performance (cost, quality, delivery).

• Conduct basic negotiations regarding price, MOQ, lead times, order multiples, etc.

• Facilitate supplier onboarding and ensure adherence to company policies.

• Assist in resolving supply-related challenges (delays, shortages, incorrect shipments).

• Coordinate with logistics providers for shipping and clearance activities.

• Aid in invoice verification and address any discrepancies.

• Support procurement throughout the complete product lifecycle.

• Manage BOM modifications, engineering updates, and transitions.

• Minimize disruptions and excess inventory through structured change management.

• Collaborate across planning, production, logistics, and engineering teams.

• Escalate risks with well-defined recommendations.

• Drive improvements in procurement processes and governance.

• Apply robust inventory control principles.

• Ensure ERP integrity and maintain accurate supplier data.

• KPIs (PO cycle time (Requisition → PO issued), Supplier On-Time Delivery (OTD), Inventory turns optimization & Price compliance).


⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years' experience in end-to-end procurement within a manufacturing setting.

• Proficient in ERP systems (MRP, PO management, inventory control, supplier data management).

• Experience in supporting forecasting, cost management, and operational planning.

• Strong problem-solving and risk management skills.

• Familiarity with procurement governance frameworks and BOM structures.

• Ability to comprehend and manage the entire product lifecycle.

• Commercial acumen and fundamental negotiation skills.

• Experience in a vertically integrated design-to-manufacturing environment is preferred.

• Experience managing international suppliers and logistics coordination is preferred.

• Desirable: CIPS Level 3/4, ACIPS / ASCM, or equivalent qualifications.
