This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.
• The Senior Procurement Manager is responsible for the development and execution of sourcing strategies for IT, overseeing the vendor lifecycle from strategic selection to contract governance and renewal.
• This position aims to achieve measurable cost savings, optimize cash flow, and foster process innovation by utilizing advanced negotiation skills, IT commercial knowledge, and AI-enabled tools.
• You will act as a trusted advisor to internal stakeholders and manage vendor performance across SaaS, cloud services, infrastructure, telecom, and IT professional services.
• Engage in advanced contract negotiations and vendor governance, negotiating intricate enterprise IT agreements (such as Microsoft, cloud providers, and SaaS vendors) with a focus on securing favorable renewal terms, volume discounts, true-ups, and payment optimization.
• Oversee the entire contract lifecycle (intake, execution, renewal, termination) and establish/enforce SLAs, performance metrics, and compliance requirements.
• Conduct regular vendor evaluations, escalate performance issues, and implement corrective actions; serve as the primary contact for contractual matters.
• Analyze spending data and market intelligence using AI-enabled analytics to pinpoint consolidation, cost-saving, and total cost of ownership optimization opportunities.
• Utilize AI tools (such as Claude, CLM platforms, and spend analytics) to expedite contract reviews, assist in RFP development, and enhance sourcing decisions.
• Lead initiatives for workflow automation to minimize cycle time, scale procurement capability in streamlined teams, and drive ongoing process improvements.
• Communicate category performance, deal recommendations, and sourcing results to leadership; mentor junior members of the procurement team.
• Drive category strategy and financial performance by collaborating with Finance, IT, Legal, and business units to identify savings opportunities, set benchmarks, and report cash impact against budget targets.
• Execute procurement governance by developing and disseminating policies, processes, and controls across the organization, ensuring consistent adoption and compliance with organizational standards.
• A minimum of 8 years in procurement/sourcing with at least 2 years focused on IT and technology sourcing (including SaaS, cloud, hardware, telecom, and IT services).
• A proven history of negotiating complex enterprise IT agreements with major vendors and delivering quantifiable annual savings on multi-million-dollar portfolios.
• Demonstrated experience in category strategy, vendor governance, contract negotiation, and management of sourcing projects.
• Preferred: Experience in mid-sized or rapidly growing companies with an emphasis on cost control and working capital efficiency.
• Advanced skills in negotiation and contract management.
• Familiarity with IT commercial models (such as SaaS licensing, cloud commitments, hardware lifecycle, and IT services rate cards).
• Hands-on experience with AI tools (including Claude and ChatGPT) and procurement automation; comfortable with adopting emerging technologies.
• Excellent capabilities in data analysis, financial modeling, and stakeholder communication.
• Self-motivated individual with strong organizational discipline, keen attention to detail, and the ability to influence across Finance, Legal, IT, and executive teams.
• A mindset focused on continuous improvement and a commitment to process innovation and standardization.
