This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Deliver insights and reporting driven by data to facilitate sourcing decisions and financial planning.
• Examine spending, volume, and supplier data across various categories to enhance cost visibility and support sourcing endeavors.
• Convert demand and MRP data into actionable insights, including implications for spending, supplier capacity, and sourcing prospects.
• Create cost models and pricing analyses, incorporating should-cost and total cost of ownership frameworks.
• Develop and sustain dashboards and reporting for procurement key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Collaborate closely with Finance to guarantee precise tracking, validation, and realization of cost savings and changes.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis pertaining to procurement initiatives.
• Craft clear and engaging presentations and slide decks, including executive updates, supplier quarterly business reviews (QBRs), and sourcing insights.
• Design and manage data structures and reporting frameworks, including spend classification, supplier hierarchies, and KPI definitions.
• Create solutions for data collection, cleansing, and analysis, including the development of datasets and tools as necessary.
• Enhance tools and systems by defining requirements, improving usability, and promoting adoption.
• Contribute to the procurement maturity roadmap and assess emerging technologies, such as advanced analytics and AI-driven tools.
• Empower Category Managers through data-driven insights, analysis, and performance visibility.
• Collaborate with Category Managers to provide market research, inflation trends, key cost drivers (e.g., fish oil, resins, freight), and supplier insights that guide category and sourcing strategies.
• Monitor relevant indices and offer continuous visibility into cost fluctuations and market dynamics.
• Facilitate RFI/RFP processes, including streamlining and automating workflows wherever feasible.
• Analyze and monitor supplier performance, developing KPIs and scorecards (cost, service, quality, reliability).
• Assist in the creation of supplier management and segmentation strategies (e.g., Kraljic matrix) based on performance, risk, and strategic significance.
• Track the progress of Procurement programs and ensure visibility into actual versus projected savings.
• Over 5 years of experience in procurement, sourcing, supply chain, or analytics roles.
• Strong background in spend analysis, cost modeling, and financial/data analysis.
• Advanced skills in Excel and familiarity with BI tools (Domo, Power BI, or similar).
• Experience with ERP or procurement systems, with a preference for SAP.
• Ability to distill complex data into clear insights and materials suitable for executive presentation.
• Experience in building or enhancing data structures, reporting frameworks, or analytics capabilities (preferred).
• Experience collaborating with Finance on cost tracking, budgeting, or savings validation (preferred).
• Understanding of commodity markets, cost indices, or supply market analysis (preferred).
• Exposure to SQL, Python, or advanced analytics tools (preferred).
• Experience in evaluating or implementing digital or AI-enabled procurement tools (preferred).
