This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Conduct research on optimal business practices both internally and externally to create benchmark data.
• Define and spearhead business improvement initiatives that align with corporate strategies and operational priorities.
• Gather and assess process data to propose practices and procedures that enhance member experience, productivity, efficiency, and cost reduction.
• Evaluate how information technologies can facilitate business process re-engineering.
• Design, execute, and enhance business processes in specified areas.
• Manage and deliver a portfolio of process enhancement projects that yield measurable annual cost savings.
• Analyze and assess the effectiveness of current business processes using industry benchmarks and strategic business objectives.
• Collaborate with operations leadership to quantify projects aimed at improving cost, quality, and outcomes.
• Persuade leadership and cross-functional partners through data-driven insights and compelling storytelling.
• Develop projects utilizing DMAIC, PDCA, Kaizen, or other process improvement methodologies.
• Identify project risks, make technical decisions, and escalate issues as necessary.
• Track project performance metrics related to cost, efficiency, and quality targets.
• Validate and report on the financial impact, including both hard and soft savings.
• Indirectly lead cross-functional teams to achieve and maintain project objectives.
• Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification is mandatory.
• A Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Healthcare Management, or a related quantitative discipline is required.
• Over 5 years of experience in process engineering, continuous improvement, or operations management is necessary.
• Proven track record in planning and executing extensive process improvement initiatives at both tactical and strategic levels.
• Demonstrated change-agent skills, including the ability to influence and motivate individuals across various organizational levels.
• Capacity to think analytically, utilize analytical techniques, and deliver comprehensive technical process, business process, or raw data analysis and recommendations.
• Expertise in project management, program management, problem-solving, and issue resolution.
• Proficiency in developing and interpreting financial metrics, cost modeling, and forecasting.
• Ability to integrate into and excel as a member of a virtual team.
• Capability to work from a dedicated environment without ongoing interruptions to protect member PHI/HIPAA information.
• Home internet connection with a minimum of 25 Mbps download and 10 Mbps upload speed is required.
• Preferred: Master Black Belt certification.
• Preferred: Direct experience in Pharmacy Benefit Management (PBM).
