Senior Process Improvement Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Lead initiatives for process enhancement, future-state design, and transformation of operating models for Duals Care Management and D-SNP priorities across both market and enterprise clinical operations.

• Utilize methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma, root cause analysis, Kaizen, value stream mapping, structured problem-solving, and current-state/future-state design.

• Evaluate variances across various markets, health plans, products, platforms, and Care Management delivery models.

• Perform process observations, analyze operational data, synthesize findings, and facilitate collaborative working sessions.

• Create scalable future-state workflows, capabilities, roles, handoffs, decision rights, controls, governance, and performance metrics.

• Translate future-state operating models into business, workflow, data, and platform capability requirements.

• Transform strategic, regulatory, contractual, product, and market requirements into actionable Care Management processes.

• Collaborate with clinical operations, product teams, behavioral health, pharmacy, quality assurance, technology, data and analytics, compliance, community resources, member support, and enterprise teams.

• Expand successful market or platform-specific practices into repeatable enterprise capabilities.

• Define measures for operational performance, quality, member experience, adoption, financial outcomes, and sustainability.

• Implement monitoring and control systems to validate sustained improvements post-implementation.

• Act as a hands-on transformation partner to frontline teams, market leaders, business owners, clinical leaders, and executives.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must hold authorization to work in the U.S. without the need for employment-based visa sponsorship, now or in the future.

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience is required.

• A minimum of 6 years of experience in LEAN, Six Sigma, or related process improvement, preferably within the healthcare sector.

• Prior knowledge of process mapping and design, statistical applications, and project management software is essential.

• Strong experience in process improvement and operating model design within complex, matrixed healthcare environments is preferred.

• Prior experience with Duals or D-SNP is highly preferred but not mandatory.

• Experience in assessing variation across markets, platforms, products, health plans, or business units is required.

• Experience in designing future-state capabilities across clinical operations, product, technology, data, quality, and market teams is essential.

• Proficiency in current-state assessment, process mapping, root cause analysis, Kaizen, improvement-event design, value stream mapping, future-state design, workflow redesign, stakeholder facilitation, adoption planning, measurable benefit validation, and structured problem-solving.

• Ability to influence stakeholders without direct authority in complex, matrixed organizations.

• Strong business acumen, analytical thinking, organizational skills, and executive-ready communication abilities are necessary.

• LEAN/Six Sigma Black Belt or Master Black Belt certification is preferred.

• An MBA or MHA is preferred.
