This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee client engagements from start to finish, taking ownership of the scope, execution, and overall quality of engineering deliverables.
• Direct the project team in planning and execution, reviewing work for accuracy, consistency, and technical integrity before it is presented to the client.
• Collaborate with the client to comprehend their needs, define requirements, address inquiries, and present findings, transforming client requirements into modeling strategies that yield clear, decision-grade outputs.
• Create and provide process definitions, heat and mass balances, equipment sizing and specifications, as well as integrated CAPEX, OPEX, and financial analyses.
• Perform scenario and sensitivity analyses to identify cost drivers and critical uncertainties, guiding the client’s attention to pivotal decisions.
• Implement consistent standards, assumptions, methodologies, and tools across client engagements to enhance technical rigor and efficiency.
• Facilitate client onboarding to the platform and train them to manage their models autonomously.
• Collaborate with the product team to communicate constraints, requirements, and client feedback to resolve issues and foster continuous improvement while maintaining focus on execution.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Chemical Engineering, or a related process engineering discipline.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in process engineering and process modeling (10+ years preferred).
• Proven experience leading teams in client-facing or consulting roles, including executing, directing, and reviewing work while managing multiple concurrent projects.
• Strong expertise in developing process models, encompassing heat and material balances, equipment sizing, and defining process flows.
• In-depth knowledge of early-stage project development (FEL), technoeconomic analysis, and capital cost estimation.
• Solid grasp of essential process engineering unit operations and principles of industrial process design.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, capable of effectively engaging with both technical and non-technical stakeholders from the shop floor to the executive level.
