This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Support mills in maintaining safe, reliable, and efficient operation of control systems.
• Diagnose issues and provide assistance for daily manufacturing processes.
• Advise on the selection and implementation of process control technologies and strategies for manufacturing operations.
• Collaborate with local operations and process control teams to enhance the performance of existing control assets and processes.
• Design, program, and adjust control strategies within current control systems.
• Seek engineering solutions to address equipment deficiencies.
• Provide support for both large and small capital projects as a corporate subject matter expert.
• Collaborate with Consumer Products, Cellulose, and Containerboard continuous manufacturing operations throughout United States mills, with a focus on Fiberline process areas.
• Travel frequently to various manufacturing locations.
• A Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Chemical, Electrical, or Paper Science Engineering.
• A minimum of 5 years of professional experience with DCS-based systems, including troubleshooting, configuration, and design.
• Willingness to travel 50–75% of the time.
• Experience in the fiberline area of a pulp and paper mill.
• At least 10 years of professional experience involving DCS-based control systems, covering troubleshooting, configuration, and design.
• Familiarity with Honeywell TDC and Experion or Emerson Delta-V.
