This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Act as the primary advisor within a committed client team, closely coordinating with a Wealth Advisor and Client Experience Specialist to cultivate enduring relationships with a select group of high net worth Empower clients.
• Deliver an exceptional client experience addressing needs associated with client onboarding, financial planning, and investor education.
• Partner with your advisory team to foster and sustain robust long-term relationships with valued clients.
• Conduct comprehensive relationship management through phone, email, and virtual meetings.
• Engage proactively as well as reactively with clients.
• Maintain assets under management and attract additional assets by ensuring diligent communication, proactive education, and unwavering responsiveness.
• Serve as a bridge between clients and various internal groups/departments within Empower Personal Wealth to effectively cater to client needs.
• Clearly articulate the 'Personal Strategy' investment approach; recommend, implement, and review investment strategies that align with clients’ risk tolerance and financial goals, while engaging clients in discussions about their portfolios, market trends, and economic conditions.
• Offer clients holistic financial planning across a wide range of topics, including retirement planning, income optimization, tax-advantaged savings strategies, and educational planning.
• Collaborate with Financial Planning Specialists on intricate issues or comprehensive financial plans.
• Effectively liaise with the advisory team and various EPW stakeholders for client-related inquiries.
• Demonstrate a willingness and ability to delegate effectively, coach, train, and develop colleagues and resources.
• Travel is necessary to meet clients in person and establish strong relationships.
• Bachelor’s degree in business or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Over 10 years of relevant experience in a registered Wealth Advisor role.
• Prior experience with direct client interaction while maintaining a knowledgeable and professional demeanor is essential.
• FINRA Series 65 certification is required.
• FINRA fingerprinting is mandatory.
• CFP designation is strongly preferred.
• Advanced expertise in wealth management strategies, financial planning, tax and income optimization, and estate planning.
• Superb verbal and written communication skills; strong interpersonal abilities; detail-oriented; capable of managing multiple time-sensitive tasks concurrently; proactive self-starter with strong situational awareness, contextual thinking, and excellent organizational and presentation skills.
• Exceptional in conducting effective client consultations – always composed, professional, and adept at building trust and fostering long-term client relationships.
• Proven capability to navigate diverse client needs, achieve multi-product goals, and analyze and present investment portfolios to clients.
• Proficient in or able to quickly learn: Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Salesforce, NetX360, and other proprietary recordkeeping systems.
• Demonstrated success with high-net-worth clients, complex planning, NPS, and client retention.
