This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina.
• Lead the implementation and testing of software maintenance updates, hardware enhancements, and engineering change orders.
• Supervise and integrate support for hardware, software, networking, and wireless solutions across multiple vendors.
• Act as the primary technical advisor for hardware and software installations at client locations.
• Provide technical and operational oversight throughout the installation process.
• Diagnose and resolve intricate technical issues in real-time.
• Identify opportunities for system improvements and create action plans to boost performance and enhance customer satisfaction.
• Present technical reports, operational insights, and strategic recommendations to both internal leadership and external clients.
• Lead initiatives for customer training.
• Serve as the technical liaison between SAIC engineering teams and clients.
• Assess new technologies and propose solutions to meet long-term program objectives.
• Mentor and support field service technicians.
• Bachelor's degree with 14 years of experience, or a Master's degree with 12 years of experience.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen.
• TS Clearance is required.
• Advanced technical proficiency in hardware installations, multi-vendor system integrations, and addressing performance challenges.
• Extensive understanding of Agile methodologies, including Scrum and Kanban, as well as tools like Jira and Confluence.
• Strong knowledge of system lifecycle methodologies, including SDLC.
• Ability to troubleshoot system malfunctions and provide innovative, scalable solutions in high-pressure situations.
• Proficient in training and mentoring both internal teams and external users on system usage, maintenance, and optimization.
• Advanced understanding of field service operations, customer engagement, and collaboration with diverse teams.
• Expertise in AI systems, data services, or advanced computing technologies is preferred.
• Familiarity with industry-standard technical tools, operating systems, and methodologies is preferred.
• Desired leadership and team-building capabilities.
• Exceptional communication skills with senior-level clients, government agencies, and technical subject matter experts are preferred.
