This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.
• Support for migration to SAS Viya.
• Evaluates data and formulates innovative solutions to programming and data analysis issues throughout the department.
• Create or assess specifications and may assist with various statistical programming tasks.
• Exhibits a willingness to collaborate with others, holds project team members accountable, and leads projects and initiatives when necessary to fulfill business needs.
• Offers statistical programming technical support and expertise throughout the Biostatistics function and other departments as required.
• Utilizes SAS or alternative software to craft custom programming code that generates summary tables, data listings, graphs, and derived datasets according to the statistical analysis plan and programming specifications.
• Suggests and spearheads the development of process enhancements, programming tools, and macros for standardization and efficiency, along with the creation of new concepts, technologies, and products to address emerging customer demands.
• Evaluates data and devises innovative solutions to programming and data analysis challenges within the department.
• Reviews, contributes to, and advocates for the standardization of CRFs, databases, Statistical Analysis Plans, and mock shells within a project or therapeutic area, or across a program.
• Guides other members of the Biometrics Department in employing traditional, new, and innovative methods in delivering analytics to sponsors and regulatory agencies through the development and presentation of training courses and individual discussions.
• Comprehends and enforces adherence to company, regulatory, and industry standards, both within and across projects or programs.
• Maintains well-organized, complete, and current project documentation, testing, and verification/quality control documents and programs, ensuring readiness for inspection.
• Keeps an extensive working knowledge of clinical drug development, industry standards, and electronic submission requirements.
