This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Take charge of engineering delivery and system integration for sophisticated industrial and data center infrastructure systems.

• Foster an operational partnership with Technical Program Manager teams overseeing a portfolio of projects.

• Manage the intake and prioritization of new initiatives while assessing technical feasibility, scope, resources, and organizational alignment.

• Recognize risks, dependencies, and gaps prior to the formal program launch.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to shape programs by refining scope, defining success criteria, and establishing ownership.

• Utilize data-driven insights and trade-offs to drive go/no-go recommendations.

• Ensure the closure of critical actions, address ownership gaps, escalate risks, and uphold accountability.

• Oversee end-to-end engineering execution across thermal, electrical, fluid, and control systems from design through deployment.

• Manage system requirements, architecture decomposition, interface management, verification, validation, and requirements flow-down.

• Guarantee system performance, reliability, and integration readiness under real-world operating conditions.

• Promote alignment across Mechanical, Electrical, Controls, Thermal, Manufacturing, and Program teams.

• Lead system-level design reviews, including P&IDs, one-lines, controls architectures, and subsystem interfaces.

• Define and implement integration, commissioning, FAT, SAT, and deployment readiness strategies.

• Ensure build readiness for skids, modular data centers, and field installations.

• Direct system-level failure analysis, corrective actions, engineering change management, and risk mitigation.

• Create visibility into scope maturity, engineering performance, execution risks, and critical dependencies.

• Propel program execution cadence, including planning and design reviews.

• Standardize execution frameworks, operating rhythms, and lessons-learned processes.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering.

• 8–15+ years of experience in delivering complex engineered systems.

• Proficiency in thermal, electrical, fluid, or controls systems integration.

• Strong systems engineering skills, including requirements management, interface control, verification, validation, and systems integration.

• Capacity to operate at both system-level engineering depth and organizational execution leadership.

• Familiarity with thermal systems, electrical distribution, controls, and fluid system integration.

• Experience in leading full lifecycle delivery from architecture and design through commissioning and field deployment.

• Ability to influence and drive accountability among technical and cross-functional teams without direct authority.

• Strong judgment in prioritization, risk management, escalation, and decision-making in ambiguous situations.

• Skill in translating complex technical and business trade-offs into clear executive-level communication.

• Proven track record in establishing scalable execution frameworks, operating rhythms, and organizational discipline.

• Demonstrated cross-functional leadership.

• Preferred: Experience in leading multidisciplinary engineering organizations or systems engineering teams.

• Preferred: Background in data center or critical infrastructure systems.

• Preferred: Experience with NPI or program recovery.

• Preferred: Familiarity with modular systems (MDCs, skids).

• Preferred: Experience in commissioning and field deployment.
