Senior Principal Consultant, Transactional Due Diligence

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Engage directly with clients to identify and cultivate new business opportunities.

• Deliver clear, concise, and business-oriented findings, recommendations, and options regarding client deliverables.

• Collaborate within a team environment to strategize and achieve project timelines and requirements while adhering to budgetary goals.

• Develop, monitor, and document project expectations and financial parameters.

⛳️ Requirements

• A degree in Engineering, Science, Geology, Business, or a related discipline.

• Over 15 years of experience working at a senior level with corporate and/or financial and legal clients.

• Ability to identify and assess environmental impacts, compliance requirements, and health and safety risks associated with various real estate, commercial, and industrial operations, including legacy environmental liabilities.

• Experience in evaluating Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) programs and initiatives.

• Familiarity with transaction-related documents (such as purchase agreements and disclosure schedules), environmental insurance policies, and indemnification agreements.

• Proven experience in managing consulting staff at various levels.

• Strong analytical, organizational, and multitasking abilities; detail-oriented.

• Capacity to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

• Self-driven with a commitment to learning and professional growth as a consultant.

• Ability to interact effectively with clients and internal stakeholders.

• Must thrive in a fast-paced, uncertain, and high-pressure environment, with a capacity to adapt quickly to changing directions and scopes.

• Experience dealing with regulators, including negotiation related to client objectives, is a plus.
