This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +4 more states.
• Manage end-to-end engagements, covering discovery and requirements gathering through configuration, migration, deployment, user adoption, and post-go-live support.
• Actively listen to identify the core issues behind the surface problems; assess processes, systems, and workflows; and create customized IFS solutions that meet customer objectives.
• Simplify complex technical and operational ideas into clear guidance for executive, technical, and end-user audiences.
• Oversee IFS Apps 10 to IFS Cloud upgrade projects from start to finish, including version-gap analysis, scope definition, estimation, development, data migration, transition, and hypercare.
• Determine which customizations should be retired, re-platformed, or rebuilt, thereby minimizing technical debt during the upgrade process.
• Design solutions across various IFS domains for the customer, including MRO and asset management, manufacturing, supply chain, finance, and project management.
• Integrate ITAR, DFARS, and security and compliance requirements into the upgrade architecture, access models, and deployment strategies.
• Collaborate with the customer's internal teams, third-party technology and service providers, and IFS Customer Success to create a unified delivery plan.
• Manage delivery performance across numerous projects, ensuring alignment with scope, timeline, budget, quality, and margin; proactively address risks, dependencies, and stakeholder expectations.
• Mentor and guide consultants and technical specialists through high-pressure delivery scenarios.
• Facilitate workshops, design sessions, executive presentations, and change management initiatives to keep projects on track.
• Provide the customer's CIO and steering committee with updates on status, risks, and decisions that safeguard outcomes.
• Make decisive calls regarding staffing adjustments, scope discussions, and escalations that protect both customer outcomes and Oxalis's interests.
• Collaborate with Customer Growth and Sales during the pre-sales phase: conducting discovery, shaping solutions, providing estimates, and preparing proposals; demonstrate empathy and curiosity to uncover what truly matters to clients.
• Meet a sales-attribution target by enhancing the value Oxalis provides to current customers and assisting in securing new IFS opportunities.
• Represent Oxalis with integrity and confidence in discussions with customers and prospects.
• Enhance Oxalis's IFS tools, templates, and delivery methodologies; strive to leave the practice in a better state than it was found.
• Establish and develop IFS capabilities as a specialized practice area within Oxalis.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
• Extensive experience leading IFS upgrade and migration projects, particularly from IFS Applications 10 to IFS Cloud, ideally within a broad ERP delivery background.
• Proven track record of delivery with U.S. aerospace and defense clients, showcasing fluency in maritime and Aerospace & Defense operating models, including MRO, project-based manufacturing, and intricate supply chains.
• Multiple IFS Certified Practitioner (IFS Cloud) credentials across key domains, with an emphasis on Asset Management and Manufacturing, as well as knowledge of Supply Chain, Financials, and Projects.
• Familiarity with security and compliance standards in regulated defense industry settings, including FIPS 140-2/140-3, NIST SP 800-171, CMMC 2.0, and DFARS 252.204-7012.
• Demonstrated experience collaborating with IFS Customer Success, third-party vendors, and internal stakeholders to execute complex programs.
• Strong project and time management capabilities; adept at juggling multiple engagements while maintaining quality.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a history of engaging with executive and technical stakeholders effectively.
• A proactive mindset: you recognize what needs to be done and take action, rather than waiting for direction.
• Must qualify as a U.S. Person under ITAR (22 CFR 120.62); must be a U.S. citizen or lawful permanent resident.
• An active security clearance is preferred, though not mandatory for this role.
