• Deliver independent and provocative insights to Gartner leaders that can influence the direction of the research agenda.
• Investigate, assess, and forecast market trends and changes to deliver actionable insights to clients and vendors.
• Provide actionable advice to clients and prospects aligned with their specific content areas through virtual or in-person engagement.
• Create and present high-value materials for Gartner events, industry conferences, and client briefings both on stage and off.
• Support sales efforts by representing the market voice to assist Insights teams in producing content and engaging with clients to advance their critical priorities and business growth.
• Ensure high-quality and timely peer reviews of content.
• Establish credibility as an industry expert to represent Gartner's insights, methodologies, and strategies.
• Actively engage in innovation, ideation, and research discussions while collaborating effectively with colleagues in the Insights community.
• Identify improvements in research processes or develop new methodologies to enhance service delivery by the team and BTI.
• Maintain a client-centric approach, actively encouraging regular engagement with Gartner insights and interactions.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience; a graduate degree is preferred.
• Over 8 years of experience in quality management, supply chain, or related fields in progressively senior positions.
• Proven experience in integrating quality management systems with supply chain operations and aligning with business goals.
• Strong communication skills demonstrated through previous experience presenting to or advising senior executives, investors, boards, or industry peers.
• Exceptional project and time management abilities, capable of juggling multiple priorities.
• An appropriate bachelor's degree; a master's level qualification and professional certification (e.g., ASQ, APICS, Six Sigma) are highly preferred.
• Extensive experience in developing, leading, or managing quality management programs, with a proven track record of linking quality objectives to supply chain strategies and overarching business goals.
• Direct experience collaborating with or supporting a Chief Supply Chain Officer (CSCO) and their teams, or partnering closely with supply chain leadership to drive impactful quality initiatives.
• Familiarity with key supply chain processes (e.g., S&OP, IBP, Demand/Supply Planning) and the role of quality management systems in enhancing these processes.
• Experience in one or more of the following: 1) large end-user organization 2) consultancy 3) vendor focused on quality or supply chain technology.
• Excellent writing, presentation, and data visualization skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts to executive audiences.
• Strong problem-solving skills and an agile, strategic mindset capable of connecting quality, technology, supply chain trends, and business models.
• Proven ability to engage and advise senior business and supply chain executives, including CSCOs and heads of quality.
• Experience leading or contributing to cross-functional projects involving quality and supply chain teams.
• Confidence and presence in executive-level presentations and discussions.
• Self-motivated with a strong work ethic and drive.
• Ability to establish credibility with executives and stakeholders through demonstrated executive presence.
• Strong organizational skills with the capability to work under tight deadlines and deliver high-quality outputs.
• Showcase excellence in research and writing capabilities.
• Proficient in analyzing and synthesizing data; able to identify patterns and frameworks while articulating and defending conclusions related to client challenges.
• Strong communication skills, able to explain complex concepts in a clear and concise manner.
• Subject matter expertise, comfortable speaking at both large and small-scale engagements.
• Strong business and financial acumen.
• In-depth understanding of the global and competitive landscape within the subject area, along with its market dynamics.
• Capability to work independently while being motivated to collaborate across teams and support colleagues in a multicultural global environment.
• Learning agility and adeptness in navigating highly matrixed environments.
• Ability to effectively represent Gartner's research methodologies and strategies at all organizational levels.
