Senior Pricing & Deal Desk Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida, +3 more states.

📋 Description

• Advocate for pricing strategies and tools that empower the national accounts and sales teams to effectively price and structure deals, ensuring compliance with established pricing governance and policies.

• Oversee and manage all incoming pricing requests within Salesforce/SFDC, driving them to completion.

• Analyze and interpret all product RFPs and related documentation to incorporate into financial models and deal responses.

• Act as a primary resource and subject matter expert (SME) for all bidding functions within the Global Products Deal Desk.

• Partner with internal teams to collaboratively enhance process improvements and ensure pricing governance.

• Organize reviews with senior management to evaluate pricing data and strategies aimed at winning and retaining business.

• Perform margin analysis for various product categories to facilitate decision-making and reporting to internal teams.

• Obtain and document final approval terms in SFDC/Salesforce, which includes pricing, rebates, and other significant terms and conditions, and provide the final package to key stakeholders for contractual execution of the approved agreement.

• Create and develop reports and dashboards that showcase sales trends and analyses to support decision-making.

• Collaborate with the compliance and rebates teams to manage special pricing contracts.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business, Finance, or a related field is preferred.

• A substitute of 7+ years of relevant experience in finance/pricing may replace the Bachelor’s degree requirement.

• At least 5 years of pertinent work experience in pricing, finance, strategy, and/or analytics.

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a Deal Desk or strategic pricing role, showcasing success in RFPs, bid management, and financial P&L modeling.

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (modeling/analysis) including VLOOKUP/X-LOOKUP/H-LOOKUP, Pivot Tables, and advanced formulas such as nested if/and statements.

• Exceptional communication skills, adept at building and maintaining relationships with internal stakeholders.

• Collaborative and service-oriented, acting as an ambassador and partner to the internal teams you support.

• Strong expertise in financial modeling, with experience leading the bid process and presenting to the leadership team.

• Highly analytical, capable of utilizing data to guide pricing decisions and assess performance.

• Well-organized and process-driven, exhibiting a keen attention to detail and pride in your work.

• Flexible, able to synthesize and compile data from multiple sources into a cohesive output.

• Proactive, responding swiftly to requests and independently prioritizing decisions under pressure, focusing on proactive rather than reactive approaches.
