Truckload Pricing Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Receive, assess, and manage all incoming RFPs for cross-border, domestic Canada, and domestic USA business opportunities.

• Conduct thorough costing analysis and create pricing options to present to the Sales team for customer negotiations; utilize various pricing scenarios to evaluate shipments and compare net outcomes.

• Assist in the planning, development, and assessment of pricing strategies at both macro and micro levels in alignment with business objectives. Analyze factors such as volume opportunities, profit potential, and service overlap with other departments that influence pricing decisions.

• Review performance metrics, including financial, sales, and activity reports, to monitor and evaluate productivity, goal attainment, and overall effectiveness.

• Provide support to the Business Development and Customer Service departments in identifying and pursuing new growth opportunities, as well as expanding business with existing clients.

• Identify target markets and monitor market trends based on the company’s current capabilities and competitiveness in response to clearly defined advantageous positions.

• Accountable for the continuous enhancement of pricing processes.

• Address pricing inquiries, investigate, and resolve pricing-related issues.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, Mathematics, or Analytics is preferred.

• Ability to comprehend business processing requirements through technology and devise creative solutions for implementation.

• Prior experience in an analyst role and/or in a pricing function is necessary.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office is essential.

• Experience in data extraction using various tools.

• Must be capable of meeting deadlines while maintaining high productivity levels.
