This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Maryland, +1 more state.
• Acquire a comprehensive understanding of customers’ businesses and their decision-making factors.
• Link technology solutions, including the Everpure portfolio and ecosystem offerings, to quantifiable customer outcomes.
• Collaborate with account managers, specialists, and channel partners to formulate customer strategies that enhance revenue growth and generate new business opportunities.
• Demonstrate the benefits of Everpure solutions.
• Enhance sales strategy and tactics while overseeing technical responsibilities.
• Deliver technical leadership and domain expertise in storage products, distributed storage architectures, file systems, as well as DAS, NAS, and SAN offerings.
• Direct evaluations, benchmarks, and system configurations.
• Create and present technical product and architecture presentations to customers and potential clients.
• Gather requirements and convert customer business needs into innovative solutions.
• Draft RFI and RFP responses.
• Seek opportunities for interoperability, functional, and performance testing and validation.
• Foster roadmap and planning discussions.
• Collaborate with product and technical marketing to produce materials that support alliances.
• Keep track of competitors, market trends, and competitive positioning.
• Encourage thought leadership within the organization.

• Pre-sales experience is essential.
• A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in technology, design, and communications.
• Preferred experience in supporting sales of enterprise storage, networking, systems, cloud, or software to enterprise accounts.
• Profound understanding of multi-tiered client/server and web-based computing architectures, design, and implementation.
• DoD sales experience may be advantageous.
• Familiarity with modern web architecture, encompassing LAMP, scale-out vs. scale-up architectures, AWS Well-Architected Framework, and microservices.
• Proven experience in targeting new prospects and converting them into clients.
• Experience in contributing to or leading RFP, RFQ, and RFI responses.
• Extensive knowledge of storage architectures including FC, iSCSI, NAS, OSD, and SAN.
• Experience with Linux, NFS file systems, and Linux distributed network environments.
• Proficient in installing and configuring distributed computing, multiprocessing, virtual memory, storage subsystems, shared memory, cache, and windowing systems.
• Strong understanding of Cloud Native architecture, on-premises and public cloud environments, provisioning automation, and containers.
• Knowledgeable in VMware, LAN, Ethernet, TCP/IP, and general networking.
• Familiarity with AWS, Azure, GCP, containers, Kubernetes, and microservices architectures is an advantage.
• A curiosity and enthusiasm for technology, along with the ability to explain new platforms and concepts to customers.
• Familiarity with storage-intensive applications and structured databases such as SQL and Oracle is highly desirable.
• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
• Federal civilian account sales experience may be preferred.
