This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina.
• Deliver hands-on operational assistance to senior PR leaders across various simultaneous campaigns and initiatives.
• Convert discussions and decisions into actionable steps, designated owners, timelines, and follow-ups.
• Manage workbacks, trackers, calendars, status documents, and project records.
• Anticipate needs, pinpoint gaps or risks, and proactively advance tasks.
• Review fact sheets, messaging, briefing documents, press materials, note cards, and other PR outputs.
• Coordinate materials, feedback, approvals, and deliverables among internal and external partners.
• Collaborate with PR agencies and teams across brand, influencer, social, and marketing sectors.
• Maintain awareness of priorities, dependencies, deadlines, and pending decisions.
• Follow up with stakeholders and promote accountability.
• Assist with press events, activations, product launches, brand experiences, product seeding, and send-outs.
• Oversee event workbacks, materials, logistics, tracking, and follow-ups.
• Engage in NYC-area events, activations, agency meetings, and other in-person requirements when local and suitable.
• Support earned media and campaign analytics.
• Organize coverage, results, insights, and campaign highlights for internal and client-facing documents.
• Ensure accurate reporting and documentation across multiple workstreams.
• Over 7 years of relevant PR/communications experience.
• Significant experience supporting consumer brands, preferably in beauty, personal care, wellness, or CPG sectors.
• Strong comprehension of PR programs from strategic planning through agency execution, activation, and evaluation.
• Experience navigating complex organizations, brand teams, agencies, and cross-functional collaborators.
• Outstanding project management, organizational skills, and meticulous attention to detail.
• Highly proactive communication and reliable follow-through.
• Capability to identify and escalate issues before they escalate into problems.
• Comfortable managing both high-level coordination and detailed execution.
• Ability to define “what good looks like” without extensive guidance.
• Low ego and enthusiasm for a hands-on, supportive position.
• Availability to work primarily during standard Eastern Time business hours.
