Public Relations Intern

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Collaborate in the planning, creation, and dissemination of content tailored for franchisees and external customer audiences.

• Engage with the franchise network regarding inquiries related to public relations and community engagement.

• Provide educational resources for franchisees on public relations support tools and content.

• Craft narratives about franchisees and customers, perform interviews, and develop editorial materials for external distribution.

• Conduct research on public relations strategies and analyze competitor trends.

• Update and enhance content for the company's website.

• Assist in Community Relations initiatives related to Corporate Social Responsibility charities.

• Support various special projects as needed.

• Evaluate significant data and interpret results to inform Marketing campaigns.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must be a U.S. Citizen or National, a lawful permanent resident, or possess authorization to work in the U.S. for this employer.

• The employer will not provide visa sponsorship for this or any future roles.

• Candidates must be a rising college junior or senior, or a recent graduate within the last 12 months.

• Strong oral and written communication skills are required.

• Understanding of public relations concepts, including press releases, bylines, media pitches, and public speaking.

• Ability to manage multiple projects effectively while adhering to deadlines.

• Excellent organizational and prioritization abilities.

• Professional communication skills suitable for diverse internal, external, and franchisee audiences.

• Familiarity with Microsoft Office is preferred.

• Capability to synthesize information, engage in critical thinking, ask insightful questions, and offer creative ideas and feedback.

• A genuine interest in supporting charitable initiatives is essential.
