This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ireland.

📋 Description

• Join a specialized team focused on delivering high voltage (HV) and medium voltage (MV) electrical power system design for a variety of large-scale projects.

• Engage in technically demanding projects while working closely with multidisciplinary teams from initial concept to final delivery.

⛳️ Requirements

• Strong technical proficiency in the design of MV and HV power systems, including topology design.

• Experience with substation design, which encompasses AIS/GIS switchgear, transformer sizing, earthing systems, lightning protection, busbar sizing, and cable routing.

• Capability to produce MV/HV single line diagrams, basis of design documents, estimates, and technical white papers.

• Background in designing substations, transformer compounds, underground cable routes, draw pits, and client control rooms.

• Familiarity with data center power infrastructure, standby generation, interim power supplies, and gas generation systems.

• Experience in conducting QA/QC reviews and ensuring that designs are compliant with current industry standards and utility specifications.

• Confident in communicating with clients, utilities, contractors, and multidisciplinary project teams.

• Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to mentor junior engineers and serve as a technical subject matter expert.

• Proactive, organized, and capable of delivering projects within established budgets and timelines.
