This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Supervise the Portfolio Consulting department within the markets and manage a team of direct reports.
• Provide leadership and direction to Portfolio Consultants through guidance, coaching, and support.
• Strategically plan and allocate resources to maximize capacity and achieve Key Performance Indicators.
• Promote innovation, continuous improvement, process enhancements, and operational efficiencies.
• Design and apply project management methodologies and best practices.
• Articulate investment philosophy and available investment strategies.
• Ensure a concierge-level service experience for Wealth Advisor teams and end clients.
• Conduct presentations on investment topics for Wealth Advisor teams.
• Examine capital markets, portfolio design, and portfolio management.
• Oversee investment vehicles, models, and platforms across both public and private markets.
• Manage standardized workflows and investment processes to ensure consistency, accuracy, and efficiency.
• Implement improvements at the department or firm level.
• Address trade corrections and minimize trade errors.
• Resolve bottlenecks, analyze team reporting, oversee daily workflows, and communicate progress to leadership.
• Bachelor’s degree is required.
• Series 65 certification is required.
• 4–10 years of relevant experience in financial services is preferred.
• Proven experience in leading and managing a team of direct reports.
• Familiarity with Orion and Morningstar is preferred.
• Advanced knowledge of MS Excel, including expertise in data analytics.
• In-depth understanding of capital markets and portfolio design and management.
• Proficiency in investment vehicles, models, and platforms across public and private markets.
• Strong problem-solving capabilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Highly collaborative working style.
• Organized with a keen attention to detail.
• Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks effectively.
• Availability during daytime and evening hours as needed.
• Willingness to travel approximately 5%–10%.
• Must work in a professional office environment and manage both standing and sitting; no heavy lifting over 10 lbs.
