This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Evaluate public health, regulatory, legislative, and policy matters, and analyze their implications for programs, operations, and leadership decision-making.
• Assist in the coordination, review, and tracking of FOIA requests, information inquiries, and other prominent requests.
• Perform research and create briefing materials, issue papers, policy memoranda, talking points, executive summaries, and correspondence for senior leadership.
• Monitor emerging policy trends and assess their potential effects on organizational priorities and operations.
• Collaborate with federal agencies, programs, and offices to collect information and facilitate timely responses.
• Aid congressional, departmental, executive branch, and other external stakeholder inquiries through research, analysis, and documentation.
• Generate reports, presentations, and decision-support materials for leadership meetings and strategic discussions.
• Keep records, trackers, and reporting systems for policy office operations and workload management.
• Participate in process improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing the efficiency, quality, and consistency of policy support.
• Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a Federal or DoD NACI clearance.
• Bachelor's degree required.
• A minimum of three years of professional experience in public policy, public health, government operations, program management, legislative affairs, regulatory affairs, strategic planning, or related fields.
• Experience in conducting research, performing policy analysis, and synthesizing information from diverse sources.
• Proven experience in drafting executive-level communications, briefing materials, reports, memoranda, or correspondence.
• Strong organizational abilities with the capacity to manage multiple projects concurrently.
• Outstanding written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Experience supporting a federal agency, federally funded program, or government client.
• Familiarity with FOIA processes, records management requirements, and document review protocols.
• Background in supporting policy development, legislative affairs, executive correspondence, or clearance procedures.
• Experience in coordinating responses to congressional, departmental, or executive branch inquiries.
• Knowledge of public health programs, health policy, or healthcare systems.
• Experience assisting senior executives or leadership offices.
• A Master's degree in a related field is a plus.
• Previous experience with CDC, HHS, or other federal public health agencies is a plus.
• Experience in a consulting environment is a plus.
