Senior Platform Software Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• Collaborate directly with stakeholders - fostering an open environment without barriers or a ticketing system.

• Oversee AWS infrastructure encompassing architecture, reliability, security, and cost management.

• Create and sustain CI/CD pipelines that facilitate rapid and confident deployment.

• Impact architectural decisions and product direction.

• Assist in integrating the latest AI advancements to enhance build speeds and deployment processes.

⛳️ Requirements

• Excellent communication skills paired with a cooperative mindset.

• Proven experience in developing systems at scale: handling high traffic, large user bases, and ensuring high availability.

• Extensive knowledge of AWS services including compute, messaging, storage, networking, and observability.

• Strong proficiency in Infrastructure as Code tools, such as Terraform or similar.

• In-depth understanding of distributed systems concepts: including ordering guarantees, idempotency, retries, at-least-once delivery, and partial failure recovery.

• Practical experience managing PostgreSQL in production environments.

• Sufficient application-layer understanding to interpret TypeScript/Node.js (NestJS) code.

• Strong analytical skills - able to dissect complex issues and deliver practical solutions.

• A genuine interest in the product and its development.
