Senior Platform Engineer – Developer Experience

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• You will join the Experience Platform team, focusing on developing and enhancing the solutions that shape the development journey at RD Station.

• Your goal will be to simplify, clarify, and create a more consistent experience for developers, minimizing friction and promoting the adoption of best practices and tools.

• Collaborate with Delivery Platform teams to guarantee technical alignment and make a significant impact on the development experience.

• Implement enhancements to Developer Experience tools and workflows utilized by various teams.

• Aid in standardizing the development journey, facilitating easier adoption and correct usage.

• Support the creation and advancement of clear and straightforward Golden Paths for development.

• Mitigate recurring obstacles encountered by developers throughout their journey.

• Generate technical documentation that aids in onboarding and proper use of the platform.

⛳️ Requirements

• Prior experience as a developer in Developer Experience teams, platform teams, or enabling teams.

• Strong technical foundation in software development.

• Understanding of CI/CD and the automation of development workflows.

• Capability to create technical documentation and standardize processes.

• Familiarity with IDP tools, Jenkins, CircleCI, Spinnaker, or similar technologies.

• Awareness of rollout, release, and progressive delivery practices. (plus)

• Experience with quality and continuous feedback tools such as Qlty, BrowserStack, or Statsig (plus)

• Background with Developer Experience platforms and internal catalogs (e.g., Backstage) (plus)

• Familiarity with Golden Paths, self-service, and workflow standardization (plus)

• Practical experience with CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes in shared environments (plus).
