Senior Developer Relations

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants anywhere in the world.

📋 Description

• Take charge of the complete developer adoption process for OpenZeppelin's Canton stack, responsible for integrating the Contracts Library and deploying Reference Implementations.

• Develop technical materials (tutorials, guides, Daml examples, and video walkthroughs) for each milestone release and ensure the Canton documentation is up to date.

• Conduct quarterly community sessions and offer hands-on coaching at Canton hackathons, conferences, and incubators, with an expectation of 2–3 trips per year.

• Provide technical insights for co-marketing efforts with partners like ChainSafe, and monitor adoption metrics (integrations, forks, deployments) to report on program milestones.

⛳️ Requirements

• 3-5+ years of direct experience in Developer Relations, Developer Advocacy, or a comparable position, showcasing comprehensive ownership of a developer adoption outcome (beyond just content or event management).

• 1-3+ years of experience within the blockchain sector, accompanied by a robust technical background.

• A demonstrated history of creating compelling, high-quality technical content across multiple channels, as well as formulating content and adoption strategies rather than merely executing them.

• Proficiency in Solidity/EVM, which serves as a link to the Ethereum-native developers that Canton aims to engage. You will adapt familiar EVM patterns into Canton's Daml-based, privacy-focused model.

• Experience in delivering technical workshops, presentations, and live coding demonstrations at conferences and community events.
