Developer Relations Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Arab Emirates (UAE).

📋 Description

• Take ownership of the strategy, execution, and outcomes for Roblox developer growth initiatives in the Middle East region.

• Collaborate directly with publishers, developers, emerging studios, and industry partners throughout the Middle East to promote adoption, expedite development, and cultivate enduring ecosystem relationships.

• Act as a strategic ally to developers.

• Represent Roblox at industry conferences and events.

• Work cross-functionally with Product, Marketing, Creator, and International teams to enhance Roblox as a premier destination for high-quality game development.

• Proactively establish team objectives, track progress, and analyze conversation trends with key partners.

• Collaborate with data scientists, product teams, engineering, and leaders across the organization.

• Advocate for your partners by pinpointing and quantifying the essential action items that will influence our product growth in the region.

• Assess risk factors specific to the region and make challenging decisions.

• Regularly share reports to illustrate the impact of your efforts within the company.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must be based in the UAE or willing to relocate.

• Over 6 years of experience in technical project management.

• Capable of proactively communicating with all key stakeholders.

• Experienced in launching technical products in international markets.

• Familiar with Roblox Studio or another game development engine (e.g., Unity or Unreal).

• A researcher with a distinctive skill set to quickly understand the needs of your target audience.

• Enthusiastic, full of positive energy, and serves as a role model for others.

• Motivated by teamwork and naturally encourages collaboration among peers.

• Ability to lead by example, develop a clear high-level strategy, and hold yourself and others accountable to the long-term vision of the company.

• Decisions driven by data and feedback, influenced by product usage, qualitative insights from users, and your expertise.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Self-directed with the capability to establish your own work and processes.
