Senior Platform Engineer, Data & Performance Enablement

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Idaho, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and maintain essential components of our data platform automation for provisioning, backups, and user administration.

• Diagnose and resolve intricate performance and reliability challenges within our data systems.

• Actively seek out and identify areas for enhancing data streaming services, security, scalability, and automation.

• Engage in an on-call rotation to provide support for the team's critical services.

• Guide and mentor junior engineers within the team.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.

• Extensive experience with messaging platforms such as Kafka and Redis.

• Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles.

• Proficient in at least one scripting language, such as Bash or Python.

• Strong experience with at least one major cloud provider, with a preference for Azure or AWS.
