This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

• Design, manage, and continually enhance the AWS serverless data platform.

• Maintain self-service tools, templates, and frameworks for serverless resources.

• Create high-quality technical documentation and uphold engineering standards.

• Serve as a reliable technical partner, establishing SLAs and SLOs for platform services.

• Ensure that platform infrastructure complies with security best practices.

• Own and advance Infrastructure as Code (IaC) for platform infrastructure using tools like Terraform, AWS CDK, or CloudFormation.

• Foster a culture of continuous improvement through regular platform evaluations.

• Extensive hands-on experience with the core serverless stack.

• Knowledge of AWS IAM, VPC, and security patterns.

• Strong Python abilities, including writing production-quality, testable, and maintainable code.

• Familiarity with Java for legacy pipeline tasks.

• Proficient in Terraform, capable of building reusable IaC modules.

• Experience in building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines with a developer-first approach.

• Comfortable with CloudWatch and ideally a third-party observability tool.

• Ability to create clear documentation and provide constructive feedback during code reviews.

• Practical understanding of least-privilege IAM and secrets management.
