This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Take ownership of comprehensive cloud architecture decisions across AWS and Azure, encompassing multi-account AWS environments (Control Tower, cross-account networking, resource sharing, IAM structures) and the current Azure footprint, with minimal ramp-up time in a multi-cloud setting.
• Independently lead the technical execution of significant infrastructure initiatives without the need for architectural oversight; most immediately, manage the Google Workspace to Microsoft 365 migration (group/permissions reconciliation, dependency remediation).
• Design and uphold Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform) at scale across an expanding array of repositories and environments, establishing patterns for other engineers to follow.
• Manage cross-cloud networking, including transit routing, VPC endpoints, cloud-to-cloud peering, load balancer/health-path configuration, and multi-region connectivity.
• Act as a senior technical resource and mentor for Engineer II/III-level staff; serve as a force multiplier rather than a peer requiring equivalent mentorship.
• Assist in maintaining the organization's compliance posture (HITRUST/SOC2, HIPAA) from an infrastructure perspective, focusing on access controls, logging/monitoring, and secure architecture review.
• Engage credibly with external architecture stakeholders (security, compliance, vendor architects) at a level that reflects the program's maturity.
• Participate in on-call/incident response for high-priority infrastructure issues.
• Over 10 years of enterprise infrastructure/platform engineering experience, showcasing ownership of cloud architecture decisions (not merely execution of a provided design).
• Extensive, hands-on expertise in both AWS and Azure within a multi-cloud enterprise environment.
• Proven track record of leading complex technical initiatives (e.g., large-scale migrations, multi-account cloud buildouts) independently and from start to finish.
• Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code at scale (Terraform preferred).
• Demonstrated capacity to mentor and serve as a technical escalation point for less experienced engineers.
• Familiarity with operating in a regulated/compliance-driven environment; experience in healthcare (HIPAA) or HITRUST/SOC2 is strongly preferred.
• Preferred Requirements:
• Direct experience supporting HITRUST or SOC2 audits.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Entra ID, Key Vault/secrets management, and Microsoft 365/Google Workspace administration or migration projects.
• Experience with Sentinel/MDR or similar SIEM tools.
• Background in M&A technical integration (environment convergence, tenant/directory merges).
• Experience with DevOps/CI-CD pipelines (Azure DevOps or equivalent).
• Competitive salary based on your experience and skills – we believe that top talent deserves top dollar.
• Bonus potential (based on role and is discretionary) – if you exceed expectations, you should be rewarded.
• 401k plans – we aim to empower you to prepare for your future.
• Opportunities for growth and advancement - we value our employees and want to help you develop.
• Comprehensive Medical, Dental, and Vision insurance plans.
• Tax-free Dependent Care Account.
• Life insurance, along with short-term and long-term disability coverage.
• Excellent PTO policy (everyone deserves a vacation now and then).
• A great work-life balance environment - we believe family comes first!
• Strong supportive teams - there is always a helping hand when you need it.
