Senior HPC Support Engineer – Compute and GPU Platform

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +3 more states.

📋 Description

• Capable of addressing complex customer issues and technical challenges through thorough investigation, replication, and problem-solving for clients utilizing our products and supporting systems.

• Swiftly troubleshoot and respond to user-reported problems via phone, email, or conference calls concerning the DGX Platform (both hardware and software), which includes but is not limited to assisting customers with installation, operation, maintenance, or product application and interoperability with other vendors.

• Proficient in utilizing industry-standard AI Tools to effectively share debugging findings, develop internal and external knowledge base articles, and analyze customer issues, thus contributing to the creation, modification, and documentation of standard methodologies for internal teams (Support/R&D) aimed at enhancing support processes.

• Engage in cross-functional team meetings, providing insights to engineering and marketing regarding product specifications, customer experiences, support tools, and more.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in delivering comprehensive Customer Support and debugging for hardware and software products.

• Strong organizational abilities with a knack for prioritizing and multitasking efficiently with minimal oversight.

• Demonstrated application of established AI technologies in routine job functions.

• Solid understanding of Enterprise platforms and systems engineering.

• Familiarity with Linux triage, knowledge of servers, and capability to resolve hardware and/or OS internal issues.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.

• A degree from an accredited university or college in Networking, Computer Science/Engineering, or Electrical/IT (or equivalent experience).

• A curious intellect, positive demeanor, adaptability, analytical skills, self-motivation, and a team-oriented mindset, along with professional-level communication and interpersonal skills, and a passion for problem-solving.

• Extensive knowledge and experience in Linux System Administration at both engineering and networking levels, preferably with a focus on Red Hat Enterprise Linux and Ubuntu distributions.

• In-depth understanding of at least two of the following areas: data centers, servers, distributed systems, virtualization, deep learning frameworks, and containers/containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
