This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Jordan.

• Assist in the deployment, configuration, and maintenance of the LigaData Big Data platform.

• Support the establishment and management of clusters in both on-premise and cloud environments.

• Develop and maintain automation scripts to enhance deployment, provisioning, and routine operational activities.

• Create and refine CI/CD pipelines for platform components and data jobs.

• Aid in troubleshooting issues and assist in resolving incidents.

• Document deployment procedures, configurations, and runbooks thoroughly.

• Collaborate with infrastructure engineers, deployment teams, and operations teams to enhance platform reliability and performance.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).

• Basic understanding of Big Data concepts and distributed systems.

• Familiarity with at least one scripting language (Python, Bash, or similar).

• Foundational knowledge of Linux/Unix environments.

• Understanding of Kubernetes and container orchestration concepts.

• Familiarity with AI coding tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Claude, Cursor) to aid in development and automation.

• Strong problem-solving skills and a willingness to learn.

• Exposure to version control systems (Git).

• Exposure to Big Data tools (Hadoop, Spark, Kafka, Hive, or similar).

• Familiarity with automation/configuration tools (Ansible, Terraform, Puppet, or Chef).

• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).

• Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions).
