Senior Platform Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Argentina.

📋 Description

• Develop and enhance Caylent's internal AI-native platform focusing on process automation, GenAI/agentic tools utilizing AWS Bedrock, and delivery enablement.

• Create and implement backend solutions for essential services using Python and Terraform.

• Expand GenAI/agentic offerings, including RAG, tool-calling agents, and evaluation loops, built on AWS Bedrock.

• Assist in the development of frontend interfaces utilizing React/Vite.

• Optimize and sustain cloud-native applications to ensure scalability, performance, and reliability.

• Collaborate with engineers and stakeholders to create tools that enhance process efficiency and automate repetitive tasks.

• Contribute to service improvements in line with business goals and technical best practices.

• Share expertise and mentor others while addressing the needs of internal stakeholders.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience in developing Generative AI solutions; should have created at least one straightforward AI-powered feature or application from start to finish and be familiar with the AI SDLC.

• Strong proficiency in Python for backend development.

• Experience in deploying and managing services within a cloud-native environment.

• Knowledge of frontend development using React/Vite for creating user interfaces.

• Must have current legal authorization to work in Argentina; Caylent cannot sponsor visa or work permit applications.

• Preferred: familiarity with AI/ML model integration and AI platforms like AWS Bedrock.

• Preferred: background in DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and automated testing frameworks.

• Preferred: experience with Rust.

• Preferred: understanding of business processes related to process optimization and SG&A efficiency.
