Senior Platform Architect, Platform Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• A multi-tenant Kubernetes platform built on STACKIT SKE, featuring a greenfield architecture with a clear roadmap.

• Utilizing CloudNativePG (CNPG) as the PostgreSQL layer, equipped with multi-tenant row-level security.

• Integration of Supabase, Keycloak, and Infisical for seamless secret management.

• Implementation of NetworkPolicies, NGINX Ingress, and GitOps utilizing ArgoCD.

• Development of a token quota service for multi-tenant LLM inference, designed specifically for our needs rather than using an open-source solution.

• Making architectural choices that will facilitate our first enterprise rollout projected for 2026.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of hands-on experience with Kubernetes in production environments (not merely having viewed tutorials).

• Proficient with PostgreSQL operators (CNPG, Zalando, Crunchy) in actual multi-tenant production configurations.

• Familiarity with multi-tenant SaaS architectures, preferably with row-level security or schema-per-tenant setups.

• A preference for sovereign cloud providers (such as STACKIT, IONOS, Open Telekom Cloud) is advantageous but not mandatory.

• Self-sufficient, detail-oriented, and practical. You take pleasure in crafting Architecture Decision Records (ADRs) instead of doing so out of obligation.
