Senior Planner, Training & Onboarding Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Convert advice standards, career pathways, and AI-driven quality rubrics into effective onboarding programs, continuous skill drills, and career advancement modules.

• Collaborate with the Senior Director to transform advice strategy, behavioral coaching frameworks, and career pathways into dynamic, scalable training initiatives.

• Act as the main operational contact during a planner's initial 90 days.

• Provide hands-on training for planners on Facet’s proprietary technology ecosystem and AI tools.

• Work in partnership with Operations, Compliance, People, Planning Leadership, and other cross-functional leaders to ensure successful onboarding.

• Manage logistics and administrative preparations for incoming hiring cohorts.

• Monitor early learning retention, tool adoption, and performance metrics during the first 90 days.

• Implement targeted interventions for any lagging indicators.

• Conduct structured handoffs and offer Planning Leaders insight into new-hire readiness, strengths, and coaching requirements.

• Operationalize and lead career path training modules.

• Execute upskilling modules and practice drills to facilitate transitions across career tiers.

• Organize regular training sessions and practice drills for existing planner cohorts.

• Educate planning leaders on practice drills and one-on-one coaching frameworks.

• Gather feedback to enhance enablement playbooks and pinpoint curriculum deficiencies.

⛳️ Requirements

• Certified Financial Planner (CFP®) designation.

• 5–8+ years of experience in enablement, onboarding operations, or advisor development within financial services, fintech, or fast-paced environments.

• Proven experience in training financial planners and facilitating career progression programs.

• In-depth knowledge of core financial planning concepts, advisor workflows, and practice management.

• Agile mindset with a demonstrated ability to identify training program gaps, propose solutions, test instructional methods, and iterate swiftly.

• Highly proficient in utilizing AI and modern technology tools to enhance operational and learning efficiency.

• Strong project leader capable of working independently and driving initiatives across cross-functional teams without direct reports.

• Exceptional project management, communication, and problem-solving abilities.

• Willingness to travel for in-person training as required.
