This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Act as a reliable advisor to people managers concerning organizational design, performance, succession planning, and leadership effectiveness.

• Provide a data-driven perspective on talent-related decisions, recognizing potential risks early and developing proactive strategies to address them before they escalate.

• Play a key role in shaping KOHO's 2026 People Enablement strategy, focusing specifically on compensation, performance, and the complete employee lifecycle.

• Facilitate the entire employee journey: ensuring a seamless experience from onboarding to transitions, while maintaining consistency and care at each stage.

• Actively seek out opportunities to enhance People Operations workflows by utilizing AI and automation to minimize manual tasks.

• Maintain the accuracy and integrity of BambooHR data—serving as the custodian of the systems that employees depend on.

• Keep abreast of legislation, trends, and best practices that influence compensation, benefits, immigration, and people operations in both Canada and the US.

• Interpret regulatory changes into clear internal guidance, avoiding unnecessary bureaucratic processes.


⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in People Business Partnering, ideally with exposure to both Canadian and US markets.

• Comfortable functioning as a strategic owner, with accountability for delivering results.

• Proven analytical skills, meticulous attention to detail, and the ability to effectively juggle multiple competing tasks and priorities.

• Strong knowledge and comprehension of HR policies and processes.

• Familiarity with AI technologies, as KOHO embraces an AI-native approach.
