This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +27 more states.
• Collaborate with ServiceTrade leaders to enhance team leadership and improve decision-making regarding personnel.
• Report directly to the Director of Talent.
• Concentrate on enabling managers, talent development, performance, organizational effectiveness, and employee relations.
• Contribute to the enhancement of People programs and processes that align with business objectives.
• Guide managers in evaluating and recognizing talent, mitigating people risks, translating strategies into clear team initiatives, elevating performance standards, and effectively executing through their teams.
• Lead discussions on Talent Review and calibration.
• Assist in promotion evaluations and detect trends in performance and talent metrics.
• Collaborate with leaders on succession planning and assessing retention risks.
• Translate Talent Review outcomes into actionable development, performance, succession, and staffing strategies.
• Identify developmental needs within teams and convert insights from performance, Talent Review, and succession into actionable development strategies.
• Support programs for manager development and leadership learning initiatives.
• Facilitate or co-facilitate sessions for managers, workshops, and discussions on team development.
• Propose relevant and practical development methods.
• Utilize engagement, performance, retention, and workforce data to aid leaders in understanding their organizations.
• Recognize patterns and inquiries worth investigating and provide recommendations.
• Manage assigned People programs and processes comprehensively, including execution, measurement, and improvement.
• Streamline and enhance workflows while ensuring documentation remains up to date.
• Leverage AI to enhance preparation, synthesis, analysis, and documentation while ensuring that employment decisions are guided by human judgment.
• 8–10+ years of progressive experience in human resources or business partnerships, including direct responsibility for intricate employee relations, performance management, and organizational design.
• Demonstrated experience collaborating directly with Directors, Senior Managers, and Managers on people and organizational matters, ideally within a SaaS or rapidly growing technology environment.
• Strong judgment in employee relations and performance management, including handling complex or sensitive situations autonomously.
• Comprehensive knowledge of employment law.
• Experience in supporting or facilitating manager and leadership development initiatives.
• Familiarity with Talent Review, calibration, succession planning, or other talent management frameworks.
• Proficient in utilizing people data to discern patterns, ask insightful questions, and support leaders in their decision-making processes.
• Proven experience in owning People programs or processes from inception through creativity, execution, and enhancement.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to navigate challenging conversations with clarity and thoughtfulness.
• Comfortable operating in ambiguous situations and providing recommendations proactively rather than awaiting direction.
• Openness and capability to integrate AI into daily tasks to enhance preparation, analysis, documentation, and overall efficiency.
• Familiarity with a modern SaaS technology stack, including tools like Slack, Notion, and Lattice.
• Must reside in one of the specified states: Alabama, Arkansas, Arizona, California, Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maryland, Maine, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, North Carolina, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, Oregon, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Virginia, Vermont, Washington.
