This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Act as the primary People partner to the GTM leadership team, including Sales, CS, Marketing, and RevOps, participating in staff meetings and serving as a strategic collaborator on organizational strategy, talent, and performance.
• Collaborate with additional business functions within a broader PBP scope alongside your direct manager, ensuring consistent people practices and quality partnerships across all client groups.
• Work alongside leaders and managers to maintain healthy organizations, focusing on hiring, onboarding, performance differentiation, and manager development.
• Guide managers in handling performance discussions, organizational changes, and the everyday challenges of effective team management.
• Manage complex employee relations issues from start to finish, applying the necessary documentation and judgment required for these situations.
• Oversee the people cycles for your client groups, including performance reviews, talent calibrations, compensation planning, engagement action planning, and promotions.
• Utilize people data to assess the current situations within your organizations and provide clear recommendations to the leadership teams you assist.
• Over 8 years of progressive HR/People experience, with a minimum of 4 years in a genuine Business Partner role.
• Extensive experience collaborating with GTM, Sales, or revenue-driven organizations within a SaaS or recurring-revenue business, with a deep understanding of how GTM teams are structured, measured, and optimized for performance.
• A background that includes at least one deep tech, engineering-focused company—such as those in developer tooling, observability, infrastructure, or related areas—where the product is highly technical, fostering a builder mentality throughout the organization, and prioritizing technical craftsmanship and product quality.
• Ability to manage a broad remit, seamlessly transitioning between discussions about revenue organizations and corporate functions without sacrificing depth in either area.
• Proven history of handling complex employee relations issues, including multi-witness investigations, performance interventions involving senior personnel, and multi-state terminations.
• Strong instincts in people analytics, with the ability to extract and interpret data on attrition, attainment, ramp times, engagement, and organizational metrics, translating these insights into actionable recommendations for leaders.
• Fluency in multi-state US employment law at a senior PBP level.
• Experience in a remote-first or distributed company, with a track record of managing the complete People Business Partner strategy for a function or business unit, encompassing not just program execution but also the design, prioritization, and measurement of people practices across the organization.
• A stake in our success with generous equity through an employee-friendly stock program.
• Our compensation is based on transparent levels relative to experience, emphasizing that negotiation strength is not the primary factor.
• Time to recharge with unlimited PTO.
• A distributed-first mindset and culture truly embraced by the organization.
• Stipends for home office, co-working spaces, and internet expenses.
• Comprehensive benefits coverage for employees, along with additional options for dependents.
• Up to 16 weeks of paid parental leave, irrespective of the path to parenthood.
• An annual development allowance.
• And much more...
