Senior Payroll Subject Matter Expert

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• Act as the primary subject matter expert for intricate inquiries related to German payroll.

• Assist colleagues and clients with technical questions pertaining to payroll.

• Advocate for best practices and encourage knowledge sharing among payroll teams.

• Provide operational assistance with complex payroll cases, analyses, and issue resolution.

• Lead initiatives in AI, automation, and digitalization within payroll processes.

• Support transitions, go-lives, testing, and hypercare phases.

• Help maintain compliance with statutory and internal regulations.

• Foster audit readiness and evaluate payroll risks.

• Further enhance quality standards, control mechanisms, and payroll guidelines.

• Streamline payroll processes and create standardized solutions for the DACH region.

⛳️ Requirements

• Several years of substantial professional experience in German payroll.

• In-depth knowledge of relevant statutory and payroll regulations.

• Hands-on experience with SAP HCM.

• Capability to independently analyze and resolve complex payroll issues.

• Experience in optimizing and standardizing payroll processes.

• Willingness to embrace automation, digitalization, and AI technologies.

• Business-fluent German language skills.

• Proficient in English.

• Independent, organized, and service-oriented work approach.
