Senior Payment Reimbursement Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Tennessee.

📋 Description

• Direct the contracting and payment procedures for all vendors associated with managed sites.

• Examine, reconcile, and authorize intricate vendor invoices, which may include medical terminology, drug names, and CPT codes.

• Supervise the transition of high-volume vendors to data file submissions and establish payment schedules.

• Assess HCFA/UB vendor claim forms and manage data-file submissions with high-volume vendors.

• Evaluate vendor agreements and coverage analysis documents for research compared to standard-of-care reimbursement.

• Address complex billing discrepancies involving vendors, sponsors, and internal stakeholders.

• Forward processed vendor data to the Data Integrity team for sponsor reimbursement.

• Supply processed vendor data and completed check requests to Accounts Payable for vendor reimbursement.

• Foster business relationships with departments, sites, vendors, and sponsors/CROs, including leading meetings and negotiations.

• Address patient issues arising from direct vendor-to-patient billing.

• Spearhead process enhancements, mentor junior team members, and contribute to strategic initiatives.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree is mandatory.

• Master's Degree is preferred.

• Over 5 years of professional experience in Accounting or Finance within a medical, clinical trial research, or healthcare-related field.

• Proficient in advanced research and analytical methods for evaluating financial data.

• Extensive expertise in Microsoft Excel at an intermediate to advanced level, along with other financial systems.

• Skilled in interpreting and analyzing intricate contractual language and budgets.

• Relevant certifications, such as Certified Professional Coder or Certified Revenue Cycle Professional, are advantageous.

• Candidates must be based in the US.
