📋 Description

• Meet parts order and sales operational objectives.

• Oversee and manage all aspects of Parts quoting throughout the sales cycle, which includes identifying opportunities, formulating strategies, developing proposals, negotiating deals, closing orders, and facilitating hand-offs to OTR.

• Keep abreast of and convey current knowledge regarding Parts market trends (including technology, pricing, and risks), customer needs, competitor activities, and customer demographics.

• Cultivate, enhance, and maintain customer relationships within your designated area to boost parts sales.

• Proactively formulate a recommended Parts list during the outage pre-planning or pre-bid phases and assist the Local Customer Team (LCT) and GESPI initiatives to increase emergent parts sales during outages.

• Review all anticipated outages to ensure that a comprehensive parts strategy and plan are in place for each event.

• Collaborate with the Region Pricing Leader to comprehend market dynamics and apply that understanding to establish market-level pricing for parts quotes.

• Serve as the regional authority on parts pricing policies and the price deviation process, leading and facilitating all approvals related to Parts.

• Deliver timely, precise, and comprehensive forecasts of Orders and Sales for the Parts division by aiding in the maintenance of opportunity pipelines in NEX.

• Act as the primary contact for all internal and external Parts inquiries, including Customer Issue Resolution (CIR) cases related to Parts/NCRs.

• Support Sales, Commercial, and Regional Services teams in recognizing opportunities for process and organizational enhancement, including backing LEAN initiatives to streamline parts fulfillment for both Inquiry To Order (ITO) and Order To Remittance (OTR) processes.

• Collaborate with GESPI sales managers, GESPI Repair sales managers, CSLs, and Field Engineers to fulfill customer parts requirements that facilitate repairs and/or field services.

• Assist application engineering as necessary to ensure accurate and complete unit records are maintained.

• Partner with parts STMs, vendors, and suppliers to guarantee parts delivery aligns with customer order agreements.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or a technical field from an accredited institution (OR a High School Diploma/GED accompanied by a minimum of 8 years of experience in the Power Generation sector in marketing, sales, project management, or customer service).

• At least 5 years of experience with or knowledge of Steam Turbine Technology products and services.

• Willingness and ability to work flexible or extended hours as needed.

• Willingness and ability to travel to designated customer locations.

• Strong commercial acumen.

• Solid background in Field Engineering.

• Familiarity with various computer systems (Copics, RPDM, ERP, PLM, Pmax, sBOM).

• Proven track record of achieving operational plan targets in a commercial role.

• Established sales history and/or the aptitude to thrive in a technical and relationship-oriented business.

• Demonstrated proficiency in computer applications (i.e., Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint).

• Ability to communicate effectively at all levels within both the customer base and the organization.

• Willingness to work independently (post-training) and demonstrate self-motivation.

• Capability to efficiently manage time and budget/expense constraints.

• Ability to navigate and influence within a matrix environment.

• Strong verbal and written communication capabilities.

• Excellent interpersonal and leadership qualities.

• Collaborative team working approach.

• Experience in customer service roles.
